Join the Little Talkers Speech Therapy Team!
we’re hiring!
Little Talkers Speech Therapy is growing, and we’re looking for passionate and skilled speech-language pathologists (SLP) to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. We specialize in working with young children and their families, focusing on late talkers, early language development, and speech sound disorders in a play-based, neurodiversity-affirming way.
If you love helping little ones find their voice and supporting families through connection and communication, we’d love to hear from you! Our approach combines evidence-based practice with creativity, play, and strong parent collaboration.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
-
You’re treated like a professional, not just a provider- we trust your clinical judgement, respect your experience, and value your voice
- Supportive and collaborative team culture
- Flexible scheduling- build and control your caseload so that it fits your life
- Family-first, life-friendly balance- ideal for clinicians re-entering the workforce, staying part-time while raising children, or wanting flexibility without sacrificing fulfillment
- Minimal driving, thoughtful scheduling- although we are a mobile practice, we intentionally cluster clients within a small radius, often with multiple clients at the same school or location so your day feels efficient, not exhausting
- No admin overload- we handle referrals, intake paperwork, billing, support, and admin communication with families so you can focus on what matters most-therapy
- A chance to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families- you’ll feel right at home if you love early language and speech development!
- Support without pressure- you’ll have access to collaboration, mentoring, and clinical guidance when you want it, without productivity quotas or unrealistic expectations
- Parents who value therapy- we work closely with families who are motivated, involved, and appreciative of your expertise, making sessions more rewarding
- Autonomy with connections- enjoy the freedom of independent contracting while still being part of a warm, collaborative practice that genuinely cares about its clinicians
- A practice built by an SLP who gets it- Little Talkers Speech Therapy, LLC was created by a pediatric SLP who understands the realities of clinical work, motherhood, and burnout, and designed this role to feel sustainable and fulfilling!
Who This is Perfect For
This role is perfect for a pediatric SLP who loves working with young children and wants flexibility and control over their schedule without feeling isolated and overworked. It’s an ideal fit for the clinician re-entering the workforce after time at home, the parent looking for part-time, school-day hours, or the SLP seeking autonomy while still being supported. If you value thoughtful scheduling and control over your caseload, a small geographic footprint, meaningful connections with families, and a practice that truly understands early intervention and real life, you’ll feel at home at Little Talkers Speech Therapy, LLC.
